Meet Our Support Staff

First off, Jenny and Sarah (owners of New Birth Midwifery and New Birth Wellness Center) would like to say a big thank you to our past and present clients for the patience you all have shown as we have been trying to build a team that provides the kind of scaffolding and support that every family deserves.

We have had so many willing hands who have approached us to ask if there would be options for work-from-home or part time hours and because we love everyone who has asked we have been trying to make it all work.

Now, however, we are intentionally growing our team to provide not only support but hopefully stability in how we deliver that support.

Enter – our support team. At the moment we are pleased to introduce to you, Hannah Levin – a long time friend of Jenny’s who has been interested in midwifery for a long time and her skills in admin allowed her to dive right in with our team and she is learning so fast!

We are quickly realizing we need to add a few more people to this team – people who are not on call and able to do the jobs that are hard for midwives to do when we have not slept in 36 hours 🙂 Stay tuned.

Hannah Levin

Places I’ve Been/Lived: Philippines, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Singapore, Indonesia, United Kingdom, Canada, several states in the US

Bio: I was raised in the Philippines as a missionary kid and moved to the US in middle school. I also lived in Brazil for a year in college, completing my degree in cross-cultural studies. My husband and I celebrated our 21st anniversary this past spring. We met in youth group back in high school and were college sweethearts. We have one son, Josh, who graduated high school this spring and is off to Sweden on a gap year as a ministry intern with our church, serving in a church in Stockholm. We bought our first home last year in NW Corcoran and are enjoying gardening and listening to the crickets from the porch or sunroom.

I have always had an interest in midwifery but the timing was never quite right for me to go back to school for it. When my friend, Jenny posted that NBM was looking for an Office Manager I knew this was the opening for me to dip my toes into the water – be in a place where I could use skills I already had for organization, systems and management but also get to support families as they grew – and occasionally hold a cute baby – I am known in my friend and family circles as the Baby Whisperer 🙂

I’m excited to be a part of the NBM/NBWC Family!
