After two hospital births and inductions. I was determined to have a redemptive birth experience with my third. After hearing countless testimonies about how amazing new birth is I knew I had to meet with them. From the very first prenatal appointment to the 6 weeks postpartum visit I felt loved, seen and beyond cared for. Every single midwife played a part in my pregnancy and birth.
At 39 weeks I had 8 hours of prodromal labor, at the time I thought it was the real thing. Midwife Sarah came that night to check on me and things started to slow down, I was discouraged and lots of tears were shed but Sarah encouraged me that this was all apart of my birth and doing more than I could physically see. Well she was right, 4 days later at 11:30pm contractions started and this time there was no doubt this was real. We contacted Taylor and she headed our way knowing things were moving fast. My labor was so peaceful and calm. The midwife team supported me in the most calm way, they allowed my body to work with no pressure or interventions. Less then 4 hours later at 4:19am my sweet baby girl was delivered in the water. It was everything I dreamed of, it was my redemption birth. I am so thankful for New Birth and the way they all cared for me throughout this process. They truly are the best of the best in the way they care for and support their clients.
